Glossier — Top picks

What is UP, beautiful people? I’m so happy to be chatting with you all today. It’s a rainy day here in SF. And what better way to spend it –  sat in bed listening to Harry Styles, typing about stuff I love, to people that I love?

It’s finally here… I have talked with friends and gotten lots of DM’s, snapchats, etc. requesting a post like this. And here it is – I am sharing my undeniable ride or die products from Glossier with you all. You ready?

I’ll be sharing these in the order of which I’d use them, so be sure and follow along!

First up: Milky Jelly Cleanser // $18, or $14.40 through my rep page

My everyday, go – to cleanser. It’s light, it’s gentle, it doesn’t strip the skin. The scent is light and rosy – not my favorite. *Shrug* But I have to say, I’ve grown to actually kind of enjoy it? It has become a familiar and comforting smell in the morning when I wake up and at night before bed.

The mask duo: Mega Greens Galaxy Pack, Moisturizing Moon Mask // $40, or $32 through my rep page (You can purchase these separately, but I recommend the duo, it’s a better deal)

The Mega Greens is my trusty spot treatment when I have a breakout – I pop it on before bed and notice reduced size of whatever the situation is on my face! This can be used as an all-over mask as well.

The Moon Mask does exactly what you’d expect: lays the land for a perfect, glowy canvas. Best used following any detoxifying mask or when your skin is feeling dry or dull in appearance.

Priming Moisturizer // $22, or $17.60 through my rep page

This is my favorite Glossier product to date, without question. It is the first moisturizer I’ve ever used, that I truly have noticed a positive impact on my skin. Growing up believing in the myth that those with combination/oily skin should not wear moisturizer, I never thought I’d see the day. This stuff is magic. Wearing this alone, the result is fresh, glowy skin all day (and lots of skin compliments *wink*). I feel naked without it, and can tell a difference in my complexion in the off chance that I don’t have it on. I’ll add that I believe this is very responsible for battling my under-eye hyper pigmentation.

Balm Dot Com, Coconut // $12 each, or $9.60 through my rep page (I do definitely recommend the trio on this one – an incredible deal + there’s tons of flavors to choose from. Also makes a great gift!)

I wear these daily, I feel like anyone who’s been with me for more than a few posts knows that. Birthday + mint are close favorites to coconut. The original is unscented and can be used as an all-over salve which is great.

Stretch Concealer (shade medium) // $18, or $14.40 through my rep page

If you’re looking for Tarte shape tape level coverage, keep scrolling. This is the best concealer if you wanna cover up those little imperfections and keep a dewy, natural appearance. I think it’s perfect atop the priming moisturizer and set with the Wowder, which you’ll see in a second.

Wowder (shade light/medium) // $22, or $17.60 through my rep page

Prior to Wowder, I’d never used any kind of powder in my life – I don’t want to look like I’m wearing makeup, and I don’t want to look cakey. This stuff is light as air and tinted just enough that it doesn’t give you flashback or a white cast. It virtually blurs your skin like a real-life filter. I also use this to help tone down my Cloud Paint if I feel I went a little overboard.

Cloud Paint (shades beam + puff) // $18 each, or $14.40 through my rep page (There’s a quad right now that is such an amazing deal, which I’d recommend if you’re gifting this or wanted to try out all the shades!)

I was curious about these for a while, and decided to lean in and give them a try. If I didn’t like them on me, I’d pass them on to a friend. I was inspired by those cute Instagram story filters with the pink cheeks. Turns out I’ve really liked them! I use the tiniest bit and it goes a very long way. I first apply beam, and follow with puff. I add a little to the bridge of my nose to give a little sunglasses tan vibe as well!

Haloscope (shade Topaz) // $22, or $17.60 through my rep page

Another item I’d have never imagined myself getting. But Glossier does a damn good job of making cool shit you want to get your hands on! It’s a dew-effect highlighter, so nothing too intense. This shade is pretty deep, and meant to give a sun-kissed glow. Admittedly, I’m still not sure that I’m using this product correctly and in the right places. I tend to use it under my brows, on the apples of my cheeks, and a tiny strip down my nose. If you have any tips, please pass them on. I do notice a difference using this, but no one seems to notice I’m wearing a highlight – which, for me, is the goal!

Aaaaaand, that’s all folks! My rep page will always be available on my blog + I am always so happy to hear from those who have purchased stuff through me about what they got! Please never hesitate, it’s so rewarding to hear back from you guys. I wouldn’t partner with a brand I didn’t believe in.

If you have any post recommendations or requests, don’t be shy. I’ll see you cuties in my next post. Much love.

Xoxo, Cody J.
