Best of 2017

Hiiiiiii, cuties! Happy 2018. ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ

Today, I’m sharing with you my favorite products of 2017. Only the best made the list, so you can rely on all these badass products. These are things I use constantly, and can confidently say are the best. Enjoy, bb’s.

Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser, $34

This cleanser is amazing. It smells great, isn’t stripping, and leaves my face feeling soooo soft and noticeably clean. And it’s foamy, which makes it more fun to use. Pro tip: use this dry, with water, or even as a mask!

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, $18

My ride-or-die. At first, the smell wasn’t my favorite. But it’s totally grown on me! Prior to becoming a Glossier Rep, I had such a hard time developing any kind of routine, and typically just washed my face with warm water (yikes.) but this product has helped me turn that around. It’s gentle, and it’s reliable.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum, $80

Okay, this has made such an impact on my skin. I have hyper pigmentation around my eyes, and this has totally erased it. The price tag is steep, but this is a quality product. And such a good step in my morning skincare routine!

Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack, $22

Talk about a lifesaver. This mask, followed by the Moisturizing Moon Mask is the bomb dot com. The reason this mask made the cut is because it’s my go-to when my face needs a deep clean. Even better as a spot treatment when I feel a zit coming on – I’ll pop this on and wear it overnight. In the morning, the zit has noticeably reduced in size and is less painful.

Glossier Priming Moisturizer, $22

This is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE product of 2017. As a man with combo skin, and the idea that moisturizer would make me “too oily”, this magic in a bottle changed my life. A lightweight moisturizer, with heavy hydration and a feet finish. This makes my skin feel flawless and leaves me feeling so confident. I wear this 90% of the time, and it looks amazing under concealer or just on its own. If there’s one product you leave this post curious about, get this one!

Tarte Shape Tape, $27

I’ve only tried a couple concealers, but this one is my ol’ reliable. It gets the job done, the coverage is whatever you want it to be. I use it under my eyes, between my brows, and on the sides of my nose to balance out my skin tone and cover my hyper pigmentation. I find it looks most natural when using a beauty blender and setting with Glossier’s Wowder. Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, $48
lucky enough to receive this in PR and I knew right away that I would love it. My goal is always a dewy, natural, barely-there appearance. With this, it just takes it up that extra step. I don’t use it all the time because it’s pretty pricy but it’s so so nice for special occasions or if I know I’m going to be photographed a lot.

Evian Brumisatuer Facial Spray, $12.50

This one is extra, I know. But it’s so refreshing! Especially in the summer, this was so nice in the heat to cool down and keep my skin looking fresh. And you just feel really cute doing it.

Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm, $18

This product is something I was more hesitant to purchase, because I didn’t know if I should believe the “larger lip appearance” it promises. After weeks of using this literally every night, I’ve gotta say – I have not noticed any of these results. But I do believe it to be very moisturizing and pleasant on my lips. I’ve grown to love it and am happy to report: this may be the first lip balm I haven’t lost within a week!

Glossier Balm Dot Com in Birthday + Mint, $12

Once upon a time, I thought my Jack Black lip balms would never find their match. I’m happy to share that I was wrong! Glossier made an incredible formula that sits well on my lips and moisturizes the shit out of them. My only complaint? I hate the tube! It’s messy and I’m constantly trying to clean the excess off of it.

Kristin Ess Signature Finishing Hairspray, $14

This comes in a mini and full size version – both incredible. This is an easy spray-and-go type vibe. It doesn’t look crunchy and it styles well the day after. I find it super challenging to find hairsprays that don’t leave a white cast or flake, but this one doesn’t and it smells incredible!

Capri Blue Iridescent Jar Candle, $30

My all-time favorite candle scent, with an even cuter glass! This one is so gorgeous when you light it. The scent fills the room, and lasts forever. This one was gifted to me, special, with my name on it.

Aaaaand, that’s all folks! Thanks for joining me for my year of favorites. It’s crazy how time flies, and I am so looking forward to what comes of 2018.
