What the heck is up, guys?! I’m so excited to share some products I love with y’all. These are my tried and true, top picks that I use every. damn. morning.
This post has been so so highly requested which makes me even more eager to let you in on my lil secrets. Without any further ado, my morning skincare routine!
I use two cleansers pretty consistently, usually one or the other. Sometimes both if I’m really feeling like a deep cleanse is necessary —
Milky Jelly Cleanser, Glossier, $18
Definitely the guy I reach for most consistently. Super gentle, gets the job done, doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight at all. Works amazing as a first cleanser if a deep cleanse is in order!
Blueberry Bounce Cleanser, Glow Recipe, $34
This cleanser is awesome because it can double as a mask. But when used as a cleanser, I suggest you wet your hands, apply less than a dime size amount (a lil goes a long way), work hands together til you get a foamy consistency, and apply to face! This one leaves my skin noticeably softer and feeling more refreshed.
Solution, Glossier, $24 (Currently sold out! Back in stock in May 2018)
When this first arrived to my door, I shared that I would let you guys know my thoughts. Lo and behold, it has become part of my (almost) daily routine. I admittedly don’t use this every day but I really try to. And on days when I’m using other chemical exfoliants, it is definitely best to not mix the two. This leaves my skin feeling fresh, looking bright, and fighting off any breakouts! I’ve also noticed a positive difference in the size of my pores and amount of blackheads. I have been using Glossier’s cotton rounds since I received them, and I love that the cotton doesn’t pill on my beard like the ones I’d been using previously from Target.
C-Firma Day Serum, Drunk Elephant, $80
My holy grail product. Honestly, if there’s one thing you need from this post, it’s this. My skin looks so much brighter and glowy. I get so many compliments even when I am wearing this alone. I just simply can’t go a day without it. It’s also diminished the appearance of my hyper pigmentation around my eyes! I know the price is steep but I seriously recommend at least grabbing a sample at your local Sephora. It has completely revolutionized my routine as a whole. I don’t feel like myself without it anymore.
Age Prevention Superfood Eye Cream, Youth to the People, $35
S/o to Jewlie for recommending this. It pairs amazingly well with the C-Firma (also recommended by Jewlie. Go figure.) and is super user friendly – just get your ring finger in there, get a bit of product then tap and smooth it onto your under-eye. (I usually apply what’s left onto my lid!) I didn’t believe in eye creams til I came across this one. And it’s pretty affordable. I also am dying to try Drunk Elephant’s new eye cream. *Side eye*
I rotate between two different moisturizers, depending on what my skin needs, or my mood (lol).
Water Drop, Dr. Jart, $36
Picked this one up during Sephora’s VIB sale and was so excited to try it out. I was a bit apprehensive about whether or not I loved it my first couples uses but it’s totally grown on me! The scent is so refreshing and the moisturizer itself is so light and a lil goes a long way. Also, the packaging is genius and so beautiful. Apply this one with a serum for best results!
Priming Moisturizer, Glossier, $22
My OG. The first moisturizer I’ve ever stuck with. I used to be on the “I have combination skin, I’m too oily for a moisturizer” train. Yikes. This guy keeps me plump n glowy without ever looking too shiny. I feel confident even just wearing this on it’s own! And this is my moisturizer of choice if I’ll be wearing concealer because I know it works so well as a base layer.
Invisible Shield, Glossier, $25
Every. Damn, Day. That’s how often you should be using SPF! This one is my fave because it has a light scent and no white cast. I’ve tried so many others (Jack Black is a good one that’s waterproof!) but never been a fan of the pasty appearance and fragrance that stays with you all day. This one goes on easily over skincare and doesn’t disrupt anything. The yellow packaging also makes me very happy, I’ve gotta admit.
Lippe Balm, Drunk Elephant. $18
Was I hesitant to purchase this? Yes. Was I reeled in by the cute packaging? Yes, again. But I gotta say, I keep this one on my desk and use it almost every. single. day. Crazy, right? I’m usually the type to have 30 different balms floating around and whichever I’m able to find goes on the lips. But the bright yellow is so easily identifiable and fun to use. I feel so cute using this. And it works! What a bonus.
And oh my goodness, that’s it!
I hope you guys enjoyed this. I left the links and prices for everything, so I hope that helps y’all out. Remember, this is what works for me, but you could have completely different needs and it’s important to keep that in mind.
If you have any questions, feel free to comment or DM me on Instagram! I love questions.
Have the best freaking day ever.
